LinkedIn Certified Marketers program
To join Marketing Labs and start self-paced courses, live workshops, and certifications, you need a LinkedIn profile.
If you don't have a LinkedIn profile, you can create one by selecting Sign in on the site header. On the LinkedIn sign in page, select Join now and complete the steps to set-up your profile.

To build your LinkedIn advertising skills, start with the curated learning paths based on specific, common learning goals such as starting to advertise on LinkedIn or improving your marketing campaign strategy.
If you prefer to explore on your own and find topics relevant to you, you can find all available content from the catalog. The content available includes self-paced courses, video courses, live workshops, certification practice exams, and certification exams. Use search and filters to find relevant topics on the catalog.
Your Marketing Labs profile has a list of your in-progress and completed courses. You can also see the certifications and Certified Marketers program badges you have earned.
Marketing Labs is the learning experience for marketing for LinkedIn and LinkedIn advertising products.
Marketing Labs is available to anyone that wants to earn more about marketing for LinkedIn and LinkedIn advertising products. Anyone that has a LinkedIn profile can join Marketing Labs at no cost. Advance your marketing skills to advance your career.

Yes. When you join Marketing Labs, you'll need to allow Skilljar to use your name, photo, and the primary email address of your LinkedIn profile and share data with LinkedIn.

Your Marketing Labs account uses the same account as your LinkedIn profile. You can reset the password for your LinkedIn profile to reset your Marketing Labs account password.

You'll get emails from Marketing Labs at the primary email tied to your LinkedIn profile.
To update the email that you receive emails from Marketing Labs, you can change the primary email address of your LinkedIn account.
Once you've changed the primary email of your LinkedIn profile, you'll receive Marketing Labs and LinkedIn notifications at that email going forward.

You'll receive emails from Marketing Labs at the primary email of your LinkedIn profile. Emails from Marketing Labs are sent from training.marketing@skilljar.linkedin.com. Add this email address to your email client (for example, Outlook, Gmail) as a known contact.

To unsubscribe from optional emails for courses you've started, go to your Marketing Labs profile and adjust your settings. Unselect the course(s) that you want to opt-out of receiving optional emails for in the Receive optional notifications column.

A learning path is a curated collection of courses around a specific goal. You can take the courses in the learning path in a progressive order to build your foundational knowledge or take the courses in any order to learn what you need when you need it.
The knowledge checks in courses are optional. You can use them to check your initial knowledge, as well as your knowledge as you progress through the course.
Yes, we offer live workshops that are led by LinkedIn Marketing instructors and peer Certified Experts. You can find upcoming events on the calendar. Live workshops are currently available primarily in English.

You can find all the courses you're registered for from your Marketing Labs profile. To launch a virtual live workshop, go to the live workshop lesson in the course. Select Launch event up to 5 minutes before the scheduled start time to launch the virtual live workshop.

You can earn different LinkedIn Advertising certifications on Marketing Labs.
Each certification exam and the certificate earned is independent of the others. You can take the certification exams in any order. While we offer preparation courses and a practice exam, there are no prerequisites to take each exam.
Yes, certifications are individual achievements. Your certification is tied to you as a learner, not as an employee of any company. You can take your certificates with you and share them with your professional network on your LinkedIn profile. Use them to demonstrate your knowledge and advance your career.
There are no prerequisites. You can take each certification exam without completing the practice exam or preparation courses.
For most learners, we recommend completing the learning path to prepare for each exam.

Yes, you can use your own notes during each certification exam.
You'll have 60 minutes to complete each 60-question exam.
The passing score for each certification exam is 75%.
We recommend reviewing the preparation courses and taking the practice exam before retaking the exam.
You have three tries to pass each exam. If you haven't passed the exam after three times, contact the LinkedIn support team for next steps.
Each certificate is valid for two years after successful completion of the certification exam. At the end of two years, the certificate expires.
To stay certified, you'll need to retake the current version of the exam.

When you select Download your badge on the Insiders homepage, your badge is issued and you can find it on your Marketing Labs profile.
Confirm that Allow group notifications and Group updates settings are turned on in your LinkedIn profile group notification settings. You'll get notified of program updates shared on the LinkedIn group.
